We Face Each Other
Prostorna video instalacija
17. – 24.7.2025.
@ JAB Video Room
Video instalacija “We Face Each Other” nastala je kroz kolaborativni proces hodanja i dijaloga između Alison Neighbour i Gemme Riggs.

We Face Each Other
Spatial video installation
17. – 24.7.2025.
@ JAB Video Room
The film installation We Face Each Other has been made through a collaborative process of walking and dialogue between Alison Neighbour and Gemma Riggs.
The film installation consists of two vertical screens that show the cliffs and landscape at two sites: Abbotscliff in the UK and Cap Blanc Nez in France, both looking over at each other across the Channel. Abbotscliff is seen on the left hand screen and Cap Blanc Nez on the right as you face the screens. The cliffs of Folkestone Warren and Cap Blanc Nez are the same stone, the same land, split recently (in geological terms) by the same sea, and so this work exists on both sides of the Channel, reuniting the rock and telling a story that far pre-dates our cultural differences.
